Setup and Installation
Wiring Diagrams
The receiver board features 2 independent relays, each with Normally Open (NO), Common (COM), and Normally Closed (NC) terminals. Ensure correct wiring based on your application and device type (AC or DC). Always disconnect power before wiring.

Image: Illustrates four common wiring configurations: AC device (e.g., lamp), DC device, AC motor, and DC motor. Each diagram shows connections to the receiver board's input (N, L) and relay terminals (1-6).
- AC Device Wiring: Connect the AC power input to the N and L terminals. Connect the device to the COM and NO terminals of the desired relay for normally open operation, or COM and NC for normally closed operation.
- DC Device Wiring: Connect the DC power input to the N and L terminals (receiver power). Connect the DC device to the COM and NO/NC terminals of the relay, ensuring correct polarity for the device.
- AC Motor Wiring: For controlling AC motors (e.g., tubular motors for curtains), specific wiring is required to manage direction. Refer to the diagram for connecting the motor's up/down/common wires to the relays.
- DC Motor Wiring: For controlling DC motors (e.g., linear actuators), the relays can be configured to reverse polarity for bidirectional control. Follow the diagram for connecting the DC motor and its power supply.
Pairing Transmitters (Learning Mode)
The receiver can store up to 20 transmitters. Follow these steps to pair a new transmitter or re-pair an existing one:
- Select Operating Mode: The receiver supports Momentary, Toggle, and Latched modes. The pairing process differs slightly for each mode.
- Enter Learning Mode:
- For Momentary Mode: Press the learning button on the receiver board 1 time. The indicator light on the receiver will turn on.
- For Toggle Mode: Press the learning button on the receiver board 2 times. The indicator light on the receiver will turn on.
- For Latched Mode: Press the learning button on the receiver board 3 times. The indicator light on the receiver will turn on.
- Pair Transmitter: While the receiver's indicator light is on (within approximately 3 seconds), press the desired button on your transmitter (e.g., button "A" for Momentary, or "A" and "B" for Latched). The receiver's indicator light will flash and then turn off, indicating successful pairing.

Image: Step-by-step diagrams illustrating how to set up the receiver for Momentary, Toggle, and Latched modes by pressing the learning button 1, 2, or 3 times respectively, and then pressing a remote button to complete the pairing.
Resetting the Receiver
To clear all paired transmitters from the receiver's memory:
- Press the learning button on the receiver board 8 times.
- The indicator light will flash rapidly and then turn off, indicating that all paired transmitters have been cleared. The remote control will no longer work until re-paired.
Operating Instructions
Operation Modes
The DieseRC receiver supports three distinct operation modes:
- Momentary Mode: The relay remains activated only while the transmitter button is pressed. Releasing the button deactivates the relay. This is suitable for applications requiring temporary activation, like a momentary push-button switch.
- Toggle Mode: Pressing the transmitter button once activates the relay, and it remains active. Pressing the same button again deactivates the relay. This acts like a standard ON/OFF switch.
- Latched Mode: Pressing one button (e.g., 'A') activates a specific relay (e.g., Relay 1). Pressing another button (e.g., 'B') activates a different relay (e.g., Relay 2) and simultaneously deactivates the first relay. Pressing a third button (e.g., 'C') can deactivate both relays. This mode is useful for controlling two-way devices or selecting between two states.

Maintenance
The DieseRC wireless relay system is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Keep Clean: Regularly wipe the receiver board and remote controls with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Avoid Moisture: Protect the receiver board from water and high humidity, as this can damage electronic components.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2 batteries in the transmitters when the signal range decreases or the indicator light dims. Ensure correct battery polarity.
- Secure Connections: Periodically check all wired connections to the receiver board to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Remote control does not work. | Transmitter not paired; low battery; out of range; interference. | Re-pair the transmitter (see Pairing section); replace batteries; move closer to receiver; check for strong interference sources. |
| Device does not respond to relay activation. | Incorrect wiring; device malfunction; power supply issue. | Verify wiring connections (see Wiring Diagrams); test the device directly; ensure stable power supply to both receiver and device. |
| Short range or intermittent signal. | Obstacles (walls, metal); electromagnetic interference; low transmitter battery. | Relocate receiver to a less obstructed area; minimize interference from other electronic devices; replace transmitter batteries. |
| Receiver indicator light does not turn on. | No power to receiver; faulty receiver. | Check power connections and source; if power is confirmed, the receiver may be faulty and require replacement. |
