3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.

3.2 Charging the Battery

The AC-25 features an internal rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the amplifier. Connect the provided DC 15V 2.5A power adapter to the 'DC 15V 2.5A' input on the rear panel of the amplifier and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The 'CHARGING' indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. The 'LOW BATT.' indicator will light up when the battery level is low.

3.3 Powering On/Off

To power on the amplifier, locate the 'POWER' switch on the top panel and set it to the 'ON' position. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate. To power off, set the switch to the 'OFF' position.

3.4 Connecting Instruments and Microphones

  • Channel 1 (Instrument): Connect your acoustic guitar or other instrument to the 'CHANNEL 1' input using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
  • Channel 2 (Microphone): Connect a microphone to the 'CHANNEL 2' input using an XLR cable. This channel is suitable for vocals or instrument miking.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

  • CHANNEL 1 (Instrument):
    • VOLUME: Adjusts the input volume for Channel 1.
    • BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency response for Channel 1.
    • MIDDLE: Adjusts the mid-frequency response for Channel 1.
    • TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency response for Channel 1.
    • TUNER: Activates the built-in tuner for your instrument.
  • CHANNEL 2 (Microphone):
    • VOLUME: Adjusts the input volume for Channel 2.
    • SEND: Controls the amount of signal sent to the Reverb effect for Channel 2.
  • MASTER SECTION:
    • REVERB: Adjusts the overall level of the Reverb effect.
    • MASTER: Controls the overall output volume of the amplifier.
    • BLUETOOTH Button: Activates/deactivates Bluetooth pairing mode.
    • POWER Switch: Turns the amplifier on or off.

4.2 Rear Panel Connections

  • DC 15V 2.5A: Power input for charging and operating the amplifier.
  • LOW BATT. Indicator: Illuminates when the battery charge is low.
  • PHONES: 1/4-inch stereo output for headphones. Connect headphones here for silent practice.
  • AUX IN: 3.5mm stereo input for connecting external audio devices (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) for playback.
  • LINE OUT: 1/4-inch mono output for connecting to a mixing console, PA system, or another amplifier.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the NuX AC-25 amplifier.
  2. Press the 'BLUETOOTH' button on the top panel. The Bluetooth indicator light will start blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your smart device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'NuX AC-25' from the list of devices to pair.
  5. Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the amplifier will stop blinking and remain solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly through the amplifier.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the amplifier's exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.
  • Transportation: When transporting the amplifier, ensure it is securely packed to prevent physical damage.

6. Troubleshooting
