Wearing the Headset
Adjust the headband to fit comfortably over your head. The ear cushions should rest gently on your ears. The lightweight design and soft materials are intended for extended wear.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. For ear cushions, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure they are completely dry before use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, store the headset in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. The headset is foldable for convenient storage and transport.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cables to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
No Sound from Headset:
- Ensure the headset is properly connected to your device (USB or 3.5mm).
- Check the volume levels on the in-line control unit and on your computer/device.
- Verify that the speaker mute button on the in-line control is not activated.
- For USB connection, check your computer's sound settings to ensure the Arama headset is selected as the default playback device.
- Try connecting the headset to a different USB port or device to rule out port/device issues.
Microphone Not Working:
- Ensure the microphone mute button on the in-line control is not activated.
- Check the microphone privacy settings on your computer/device to ensure applications have permission to access the microphone.
- For USB connection, check your computer's sound settings to ensure the Arama headset is selected as the default recording device and that its input volume is not set to zero.
- Ensure the microphone boom is correctly positioned near your mouth.
Poor Audio Quality:
- Ensure all connections are secure.
- Adjust the volume to an appropriate level; excessively high volume can cause distortion.
- If using USB, try a different USB port.
- If using 3.5mm, ensure the jack is fully inserted and clean.
