Setup
1. Battery Installation
The PRGR HS 130-A operates on AAA batteries. Ensure you have two fresh AAA alkaline batteries for operation. To install:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert two AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Device Placement
Proper placement of the launch monitor is crucial for accurate readings. The device uses Doppler radar, which requires an unobstructed path to the ball and club.
- Place the PRGR HS 130-A on a flat, level surface.
- Position the device 3.5 to 5 feet directly behind your swinging area.

- If hitting off a mat, raise the monitor approximately 3.5 inches off the ground to ensure it is on the same plane as the ball.
- If hitting off grass, raise the monitor approximately 2 inches off the ground.

3. Powering On
Press the ENTER ON/OFF button to power on the device. The display will illuminate, and it will be ready to take measurements.

1. Understanding the Display

2. Taking Measurements

3. Changing Club Selection
To toggle between different club types for more accurate distance calculations:
- Use the UP (^) and DOWN (v) arrow buttons to cycle through available club settings (e.g., Driver, 3-Wood, 5-Wood, Hybrid, Irons, Wedges).
- The selected club will be indicated on the display.
4. Switching Between Carry and Total Distance
Press the MODE button to switch the displayed distance between 'Carry' and 'Total'.
