5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.
- Placement: Place the dispenser on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is not exposed to direct sunlight or near heat-generating appliances. Allow at least 10 cm of space from walls for proper ventilation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For internal cleaning, dispense and discard at least 1 liter of water from each tap to flush the system.
- Water Bottle Installation: This is a top-loading dispenser. Remove the cap from a standard 16-20 liter water bottle and carefully place it onto the support collar on top of the dispenser. Ensure it is seated firmly.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet.
- Initial Water Flow: Before turning on heating or cooling, press each tap to ensure water flows freely. This primes the system and prevents damage from dry heating.
6. Operation
- Power On: After setup, plug in the unit. The indicator lights will illuminate.
- Hot Water Dispensing: To dispense hot water, first push the safety lock button (usually red), then press the hot water tap lever. Release the lever to stop the flow. Always re-engage the safety lock after use.
- Cold Water Dispensing: Press the cold water tap lever to dispense cold water. Release the lever to stop the flow.
- Normal Water Dispensing: Press the normal water tap lever to dispense room temperature water. Release the lever to stop the flow.
- Indicator Lights: The dispenser features indicator lights to show when the hot and cold water functions are active and when the desired temperatures are reached.
7. Maintenance
- Exterior Cleaning: Regularly wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Drip Tray: The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth. Remove the tray, wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and replace.
- Water Bottle Replacement: When the water bottle is empty, lift it off the dispenser and replace it with a new one.
- Drainage: Periodically, or before long periods of non-use, drain the internal tanks. Refer to the specific drainage points on your unit, usually located at the back. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled down before draining hot water.
- Ventilation Grilles: Keep the ventilation grilles on the back of the unit clean and free from dust to ensure efficient cooling.
