3. Setup and Assembly

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Suction Modes
- Press the power button on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on. It will start in the default suction mode.
- Press the mode selection button to cycle through the available suction modes: Eco, Middle, and Power.
- Press the power button again to turn the appliance off.
4.2 Using the Stick Vacuum
The stick configuration is ideal for cleaning floors, carpets, and larger areas. The high-speed electric brush with LED lighting ensures thorough cleaning and illuminates dark areas under furniture.


4.3 Using the Handheld Vacuum

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Emptying the Dust Container
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off.
- Press the release button on the dust container and detach it from the main unit.
- Open the dust container lid and empty the contents into a waste bin.

5.2 Cleaning the Filters
The Hygiene E12 exhaust air filter and pre-filter are washable. Clean them regularly to maintain suction power.
- Remove the dust container as described above.
- Carefully remove the pre-filter and the E12 Hygiene filter from the dust container.
- Rinse both filters under running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents.
- Allow the filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.

5.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll and Cyclone
If the vacuum cleaner's run time is short or suction decreases, the brush roll and cyclone may be dirty and require cleaning.
- Turn off the vacuum cleaner and detach the floor nozzle.
- Remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll. A pair of scissors may be helpful.
- Inspect the cyclone inside the dust container for blockages and clear them if necessary.
5.4 Battery Care
The HV 7168 comes with two replaceable batteries for extended cleaning time. To replace a battery:
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is off.
- Press the battery release buttons on the sides of the battery pack.
- Slide the battery out of the main unit.
- Insert a fully charged battery until it clicks securely into place.
