1. Transparent Cover: The top clear cover of the fountain.
2. Drinking Tray: The area where pets drink, designed for easy access.
3. Filter: Multi-layer filter for water purification.
4. Filter Cover: Holds the filter in place.
5. Water Pipe: Directs water flow from the pump to the drinking tray.
6. Water Line (MIN/MAX): Indicators inside the body for optimal water levels.
7. Body: The main reservoir and housing for the pump and electronics.
8. Function Key: Smart touch buttons for operating modes.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your pet water fountain:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Rinse Components: Rinse the Transparent Cover, Drinking Tray, Filter Cover, and Water Pipe thoroughly with clean water. Do NOT rinse the main Body or the filter with soap.
3. Prepare Filter: Submerge the new filter in a bowl of clean water for 5-10 minutes to remove any loose carbon dust.
4. Assemble Filter: Place the prepared filter into the Filter Cover.
5. Install Water Pipe: Insert the Water Pipe into the pump outlet located inside the main Body.
6. Place Filter Assembly: Position the Filter Cover with the filter onto the designated spot inside the main Body, ensuring it sits securely over the pump.
7. Add Water: Fill the main Body with clean water up to the 'MAX' line. Do not overfill.
8. Place Drinking Tray: Carefully place the Drinking Tray on top of the main Body, aligning it with the water pipe.
9. Attach Transparent Cover: Place the Transparent Cover on top of the Drinking Tray.
10. Connect Power: Connect the USB power cable to the fountain's power port and then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

• Power On/Off: Press the central power button (⏻) to turn the fountain on or off.
• Mode Selection:
  • Normal Mode: Indicated by the "NORMAL" light. In this mode, the fountain operates continuously, providing a constant flow of fresh water. This is suitable for pets who prefer continuous access.
  • Smart Mode: Indicated by the "SMART" light. In this mode, the fountain operates intermittently to conserve energy and extend pump life. It typically cycles on and off at set intervals (e.g., 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off), providing water when needed while maintaining freshness.
• Water Level: Ensure the water level is always above the 'MIN' line to prevent the pump from running dry, which can damage the pump. Refill water as needed.
• UV Sterilization (if applicable): If your model includes UV sterilization, the UV light will automatically activate during operation to help eliminate bacteria.

The fountain operates with a low noise level, typically below 40dB, ensuring a quiet environment for both you and your pets.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

Cleaning the Fountain:

It is recommended to clean the fountain at least once a week, or more frequently if you have multiple pets or notice debris.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the fountain from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the Transparent Cover, Drinking Tray, Filter Cover, Filter, and Water Pipe.
3. Clean Components: Wash the Transparent Cover, Drinking Tray, Filter Cover, and Water Pipe with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
4. Clean Main Body: Wipe the inside and outside of the main Body with a damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the main Body in water.
5. Clean Pump: Disassemble the pump (refer to pump manual if needed) and clean any hair or debris from the impeller. Rinse the pump components.
6. Reassemble: Reassemble all components after cleaning and drying.

Filter Replacement:

The filter should be replaced every 2-4 weeks, depending on water quality and the number of pets using the fountain. A dirty filter can reduce water flow and purification effectiveness.

1. Remove Old Filter: Unplug the fountain, remove the Transparent Cover, Drinking Tray, and Filter Cover. Discard the old filter.
2. Prepare New Filter: Submerge the new filter in a bowl of clean water for 5-10 minutes to remove any loose carbon dust.
3. Install New Filter: Place the prepared new filter into the Filter Cover.
4. Reassemble: Reassemble the fountain components, ensuring the filter assembly is correctly seated.
5. Refill Water: Fill the reservoir with fresh water.

Optional Chitosan Pack: If using the optional Chitosan antibacterial material, replace it according to its specific instructions, typically alongside the main filter.
