1. Product Overview

The Igzyz WiFi USB Charger Spy Camera is a discreet surveillance device integrated into a standard USB wall charger. It allows for remote monitoring, motion detection, and video recording, making it suitable for home or office security. This device functions as both a camera and a working USB charger.

2. Setup Instructions

2.1 Initial Setup

1. Insert Micro SD Card: Locate the card slot on the device (refer to Figure 1). Gently insert a Micro SD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.
2. Power On: Plug the camera into a standard wall outlet. The device will power on automatically.
3. Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the packaging, or visit http://120.79.165.16/download/index.html to download the companion application (e.g., "Live Camera" or "weihome") for your smartphone (Android/iOS).

2.2 Wi-Fi Connection

4. Register/Log In: Open the downloaded app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account or log in if you already have one.
5. Add Device: In the app, select the option to add a new device. The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your home Wi-Fi network.
6. Wi-Fi Compatibility: The camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your router is configured for 2.4 GHz or that you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz band. It does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
7. Security Protocol: After successful Wi-Fi configuration, the camera's signal will be masked for enhanced security. Access is restricted to the primary device or shared access via the app.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Live View and Recording

• Once connected, open the app to view the live video feed from the camera.
• The camera records video in Full HD (1080P) for live streaming. Video saved to the SD card is recorded at 640P resolution.
• You can adjust the video resolution within the app settings.

3.2 Motion Detection Alarm

• Activate the motion detection alarm mode within the app settings.
• When the camera detects movement, it will send an alarm notification to your smartphone.
• You can then access the live feed or review recorded video on the SD card to assess the situation.

3.3 Dual Functionality

• The device functions as a standard USB wall charger, allowing you to charge portable devices while it records.

3.4 App Sharing

• The app allows for sharing access to the camera feed with other authorized users, enabling multiple family members or colleagues to monitor.

4. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
• Firmware Updates: Check the app periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

5. Troubleshooting

• Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The camera does not support 5 GHz networks. Verify your Wi-Fi password and signal strength.
• App Issues: If the app is unresponsive or fails to connect, try restarting your smartphone and the camera. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version. Some users have reported difficulties with app registration or connection; if issues persist, contact customer support.
• Resetting the Device: If the camera is not functioning correctly, use the provided reset pin to press the reset button (refer to Figure 1) for approximately 5-10 seconds until the indicator light changes. Caution: The reset button can be fragile; apply gentle pressure.
• Poor Video Quality: Ensure adequate lighting in the surveillance area. Check the app settings to confirm the desired resolution is selected.
• No Recording to SD Card: Ensure the Micro SD card is correctly inserted, formatted, and has sufficient free space. The camera supports up to 256GB.
