4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation and Removal
- To install the battery pack: Align the battery pack with the base of the fan. Slide the battery pack into the fan until it latches securely in place.
- To remove the battery pack: Press the release button on the battery pack and slide the pack out of the fan.
4.2 Powering the Fan
The fan can be powered by either a Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack or by plugging it into a standard AC outlet using the provided AC power cord.
- Battery Power: Insert a charged M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack into the fan's battery slot.
- AC Power: Connect the AC power cord to the fan's power input port and then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Operation
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the power/speed control dial on the side of the fan. Turn the dial clockwise from the 'O' (Off) position to select a speed setting.
5.2 Adjusting Fan Speed
The fan features three speed settings: Low (I), Medium (II), and High (III). Rotate the power/speed control dial to your desired setting.
- Setting I (Low): Provides quiet operation and extended run-time.
- Setting II (Medium): Offers balanced airflow and run-time.
- Setting III (High): Delivers maximum airflow for rapid cooling or air circulation.
5.3 Adjusting Fan Head Angle
The fan head can be adjusted 120 degrees with nine stopping positions. Gently tilt the fan head up or down to direct airflow as needed. The robust design ensures the head stays in the chosen position.
