This appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised and instructed. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance by children requires supervision. Use only the provided AC cable. Do not use near open flames or ashes. Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres or where flammable materials/gases are present. Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when switched on. Do not use outdoors in the rain. Never block air grille or impeller. Do not operate without or with a defective fan grille. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry; keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
Battery Safety
Do not dispose of used battery packs in household refuse or by burning. Contact Milwaukee distributors for recycling options. Do not store battery packs with metal objects (risk of short circuit). Use only compatible Milwaukee chargers from the same battery platform. Battery acid may leak from damaged batteries. Wash affected skin immediately with soap and water. If in eyes, rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. ⚠️ Warning: To reduce risk of fire, injury, or product damage from short circuit, never immerse tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid. Corrosive or conductive fluids can cause short circuits.
Li-Ion Battery Protection
In cases of high current draw (high torque, stalling, short circuit), the tool will vibrate, the fuel gauge will flash, and the tool will turn OFF. Release trigger to reset. Under extreme circumstances, if the battery pack overheats, the fuel gauge will flash until it cools down. Work may resume once lights go off.
Li-Ion Battery Transport
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to Dangerous Goods Legislation. Transport must comply with local, national, and international regulations. Consumers can transport batteries by road without further requirements. Commercial transport is subject to Dangerous Goods regulations and requires trained personnel. When transporting: Ensure battery terminals are protected and insulated. Secure battery pack against movement. Do not transport cracked or leaking batteries. Consult forwarding company for advice.
