3. Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your Kewig Motorcycle Phone Mount for charging and securing your device.

3.1 Power Connection

The phone mount can be powered in two ways:

  • Direct to Motorcycle Battery: Connect the provided power cable directly to your motorcycle's 12V-24V battery. Ensure proper polarity. When connected this way, both the 15W wireless charger and the 20W USB C port will function simultaneously, allowing for dual device charging.
  • Via USB C Port (Input): The USB C port can also serve as an input source. Connect it to a power bank or a USB socket. In this configuration, only the wireless charger will function. The USB C input supports 5V/9V/12V.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kewig Motorcycle Phone Mount.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Waterproof Features: The mount is IP66 waterproof, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets. While it can withstand rain, avoid submerging it in water. Ensure the USB C port cover is securely closed when not in use to maintain water resistance.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect the power cable for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Shock Protection: The built-in soft silicone and sturdy aluminum alloy construction provide shockproof protection. However, avoid excessive impacts or dropping the device.
