4. Setup and Installation
The ELRO DV477IP4 system is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps:
4.1 Outdoor Unit Installation
- Mount the outdoor unit's bracket on your exterior wall at a height between 1.35 meters and 1.70 meters.
- Connect the 4-wire cable from the outdoor unit to the indoor monitor.

4.2 Indoor Monitor Installation
- Mount the monitor's bracket on an interior wall.
- Connect the 4-wire cable from the outdoor unit to the monitor.

5.1 Using the Indoor Monitor
When a visitor presses a call button on the outdoor unit, the corresponding indoor monitor(s) will ring and display the visitor's image.
- Answer Call: Press the Talk button to initiate two-way communication.
- Live View: Press the Live View button to see the outdoor camera feed at any time.
- Unlock Door: Press the Door Unlock button to remotely open a connected 12V door opener.
- Control Gate: Press the Gate Control button to operate a connected gate.
- Adjust Settings: Use the side controls to adjust ringtone volume, select melodies, and modify screen brightness and color intensity.

The ELRO Intercom App allows you to manage your intercom system from your smartphone or tablet, even when you are away from home.
