7. Maintenance

7.2 Keycap and Switch Replacement

As the K585 PRO features hot-swappable switches, you can easily remove and replace keycaps and switches. Use the provided keycap puller and switch puller (if included with your specific model) to carefully remove components. Ensure the new switches are aligned correctly before pressing them firmly into place.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode (2.4Ghz, BT, or Wired) and ensure it matches your device. For 2.4Ghz, verify the USB dongle is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure it's paired correctly.
  • RGB lights not working: Check if the backlight is turned off or set to minimum brightness. Cycle through lighting modes using the dedicated keys.
  • Keys not registering: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected. If specific keys are not working, and you have hot-swappable switches, try reseating or replacing the affected switch.
  • Connectivity issues (lag/disconnection): Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device. Avoid interference from other wireless devices. For 2.4Ghz, try a different USB port.
