5. Setup

  1. Connect Power: Plug the Micro USB cable into the charger's input port and connect the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, car charger). The charger's LED indicators will briefly light up.
  2. Insert Batteries: Insert 1 to 4 compatible Ni-MH/Ni-CD rechargeable batteries into the charging slots, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the markings on the charger).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Charging Process

Once batteries are correctly inserted and the charger is powered, the charging process begins automatically.

  • LED Indicator: Each charging slot has an independent LED indicator.
  • Red Light: Indicates that the battery in that slot is currently charging.
  • Green Light: Indicates that the battery in that slot is fully charged. The charger will automatically stop charging.
  • Flashing Light: Indicates a damaged or incompatible battery. Remove the battery immediately.

6.2 Fast Charging Mode

The charger offers a fast charging mode for slots 1 and 2.

  • To activate fast charging for slots 1 and 2, press and hold the 'FAST' button (or the fast charge indicator light) on the charger. The current for slots 1 and 2 will increase to 1.8A. This mode is active only when slots 3 and 4 are empty.
  • To deactivate fast charging and return to the standard 1A current for all four slots, press the 'FAST' button again.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the charger and batteries clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe surfaces.

8.1 Batteries Not Charging

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.

  • Check Battery Type: Ensure you are using Ni-MH or Ni-CD rechargeable batteries.
