3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charge

3.2 Pairing with a Device

To pair your AirPods Max with an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac):

1. Ensure your AirPods Max are charged and near your device.
2. Open the Smart Case or take the AirPods Max out of the case.
3. A setup animation will appear on your device's screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

• Noise Control Button: Press to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.

AirPods Max offer two primary listening modes:
