- Wash Parts: Wash the removable ceramic crock and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The crock and lid are dishwasher safe.
- Wipe Base: Wipe the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Assemble: Place the ceramic crock into the heating base. Position the glass lid on top of the crock.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.

5.2. Defrost and Cook Setting

- Place frozen meat into the ceramic crock.
- Press the DEFROST button.

- Insert the temperature probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone or fat.
- Plug the probe into the designated port on the slow cooker's control panel.
- Set the desired internal temperature using the control panel.
- The slow cooker will cook until the set temperature is reached, then automatically switch to the WARM setting.
