Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before operating the Diecast Masters 1:24 Caterpillar RC 336 Excavator. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Recommended Age: This product is intended for users aged 8 years and older.
- Choking Hazard: Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
- Battery Safety: Use only specified batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Dispose of batteries properly.
- Supervision: Adult supervision is recommended for younger users.
- Operating Environment: Operate the excavator in open, clear areas, away from people, pets, and obstacles. Avoid operating near water or in wet conditions.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
For the Remote Controller:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

For the Excavator:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside or rear of the excavator.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Connect the included lithium battery to the excavator's power connector.
- Place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover securely.
2. Charging the Excavator Battery
Before first use, fully charge the excavator's lithium battery.
- Connect the lithium battery to the USB charger cable.
- Plug the USB charger into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator light on the USB charger will show the charging status (refer to charger instructions for specific light indications).
- Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger. Do not overcharge.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On and Pairing
- Ensure both the excavator and the remote controller have fresh or fully charged batteries installed.
- Turn on the power switch on the excavator.
- Turn on the power switch on the remote controller.
- The controller and excavator should automatically pair. An indicator light on the controller will confirm successful pairing (refer to controller for specific light indications). If pairing fails, turn both off and on again.
2. Controls
The remote controller allows for full function control of the excavator. Familiarize yourself with the controls before operating.
- Left Joystick: Controls forward/backward movement and left/right turning of the tracks.
- Right Joystick: Controls the movement of the excavator arm (up/down) and shovel (scoop/dump).
- Additional Buttons/Levers: May control the rotation of the upper cart (360 degrees) or other specific functions. Refer to the controller's markings for precise functions.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the excavator and controller with a soft, dry cloth after use. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
- Storage: Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Remove batteries from both the excavator and controller if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Do not leave batteries charging unattended. Do not puncture or damage batteries.
