Setup
1. Battery Installation
The FurReal Fuzzalots Puppy comes with one (1) AA battery pre-installed. If the toy does not respond or its lights and sounds are weak, the battery may need replacement.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the pet.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the old AA battery and insert a new 1.5V AA alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Important: Always use fresh alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Operating Instructions
The Fuzzalots Puppy expresses its feelings through various sounds and a color-changing light on its chest. Observe these cues to understand its needs.
Understanding Moods and Interactions:
- Red Light: Hungry or Thirsty
When the puppy's chest glows red and it makes unhappy sounds, it indicates hunger or thirst. Use the included feeding bottle accessory to feed it. This will calm the pet, and its light will change to a contented color.
- Blue Light: Sad, Scared, or Cranky
If the puppy's chest glows blue and it makes sounds indicating distress, it needs comfort. Gently pet its head to soothe it. The light will change, and the puppy will respond with happy sounds.
- Other Interactions:
The puppy has over 25 sounds and reactions. Continue to interact with it by petting and feeding to discover all its responses and keep it happy.
Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions:
- Surface clean only. Do not immerse the toy in water, as this can damage electronic components.
