Maintenance
Battery Charging
The eufyCam 2C Pro cameras feature a 180-day battery life. Monitor battery status via the eufy Security app. When the battery is low, remove the camera from its mount and charge it using the provided USB cable and power adapter. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed after charging to maintain its IP67 weatherproof rating.
Cleaning
Periodically clean the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and proper sensor function. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Optional Solar Panel
For continuous power and to avoid manual recharging, consider purchasing a compatible eufy solar panel. This accessory connects directly to the camera and keeps it charged using sunlight.

Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Recording Motion:
Check motion detection settings in the app. Ensure sensitivity is adequate and activity zones are correctly configured. Verify the camera's battery level. - Poor Video Quality:
Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check Wi-Fi signal strength between the camera and HomeBase 2. If using HomeKit, remember that recording is limited to 1080p. - Short Battery Life:
Frequent motion detection events, live view access, and spotlight usage can reduce battery life. Adjust settings for optimal battery life in the app's Power Manager. - Connectivity Issues:
Ensure HomeBase 2 is powered on and connected to your network. Check the distance between cameras and HomeBase 2. Obstructions like thick walls can affect signal strength. - Privacy Concerns:
eufy has addressed past privacy concerns through software updates. Ensure your app and device firmware are up-to-date to benefit from the latest security enhancements. Local storage on HomeBase 2 provides an added layer of privacy.
