3. Assembly and Setup

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and efficient operation of your patio heater:
Starting the Heater:
- Ensure the propane tank is connected and the tank valve is fully open.
- Press and hold the control knob down, then rotate it to the "PILOT" position.
- While holding the knob down, press the ignition button repeatedly until the pilot flame ignites. You should see a small flame.
- Continue to hold the control knob down for 15-30 seconds after the pilot ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
- Release the control knob. If the pilot flame goes out, repeat steps 2-4.
- Once the pilot is stable, rotate the control knob to the "LOW" or "HIGH" setting to ignite the main burner.
Adjusting Heat:
Rotate the control knob between "LOW" and "HIGH" to adjust the heat output to your desired level. The heater provides powerful 48,000 BTU heat output, warming spaces up to 200 sq ft.
Shutting Down the Heater:
- Rotate the control knob to the "OFF" position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank.
- Allow the heater to cool completely before covering or storing.
