2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure that the toothbrush handle, one brush head, and two AA batteries are present and undamaged.

2.2 Installing Batteries

To open the battery compartment, firmly press the two small indentations on either side of the bottom cap and pull downwards.
Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Replace the cap by aligning it and pushing upwards until it clicks securely into place.

2.3 Attaching the Brush Head

Align the brush head with the metal shaft on the toothbrush handle.
Push the brush head down firmly until it locks into place. Ensure the brush head is facing the same direction as the power button.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Brushing Your Teeth

Wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
Place the brush head in your mouth before turning it on to prevent splashing.
Press the power button to activate the toothbrush.
Gently guide the brush head from tooth to tooth, allowing the rotating bristles to clean each surface. Do not scrub aggressively.

3.2 Timer Function

The Oral-B Pro 100 includes a built-in 2-minute timer. The toothbrush will briefly pause its motor three times during your brushing session, indicating that you have brushed for the dentist-recommended duration. The toothbrush will not automatically turn off after 2 minutes, allowing you to continue brushing if desired.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Your Toothbrush

After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water with the handle still turned on.

4.2 Replacing the Brush Head

Dentists recommend replacing your brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become splayed or worn.
To remove the old brush head, simply pull it straight off the metal shaft.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Reduced Brush Performance

If the brush head's rotation slows down significantly or the motor seems weaker, it indicates that the batteries are running low. Replace both AA batteries with new ones following the instructions in Section 2.2.

5.2 Difficulty Opening Battery Compartment
