Warnings
WARNING
- Do not place the charger in water or liquid, or store it where it can fall into a tub or sink. Do not reach for it if it has fallen into water; unplug immediately.
- This appliance contains non-replaceable batteries. Do not disassemble the product except for battery disposal. Exercise caution when removing the battery to avoid short-circuiting the terminals.
- When unplugging, always pull the power plug, not the cord. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands, as this can cause an electric shock.
- If undergoing dental treatment, consult your dental professional before use.
- This toothbrush is for personal care and not for use by multiple patients in a dental practice or institution.
- For tooth brushing only. Do not chew or bite on the brush. Do not use as a toy or without adult supervision.
- Follow instructions when applying stickers on the handle. Ensure the valve on the back of the handle is not covered.
Preventing Brush Head Breakage
To avoid brush head breakage, which may cause choking hazards or damage teeth:
- Ensure the brush head fits properly before each use. Discontinue use if the brush head no longer fits correctly. Never use without a brush head.
- If the toothbrush handle is dropped, replace the brush head before the next use, even if no damage is visible.
- Replace the brush head every 3 months or sooner if worn.
- Clean the brush head properly after each use to ensure safe and functional operation.

Specifications

For voltage specifications, refer to the bottom of the charging unit.
Charging and Operation
The toothbrush is electrically safe and designed for bathroom use.
- Plug the charging unit (D) into an electrical outlet and place the handle (C) on the charging unit (1).
- A full charge takes approximately 16 hours and provides up to 8 days of regular brushing (twice a day for 2 minutes).
- For daily use, the handle can be stored on the plugged-in charging unit to maintain full power; overcharging is impossible.
- To maintain maximum battery capacity, unplug the charger and fully discharge the handle with regular use at least every 6 months.
Using the Toothbrush
- Wet the brush head and apply children's toothpaste. Guide the brush head to the teeth, then turn on the handle by pressing the on/off switch (B) (2).
- Start with the lower teeth: Slowly guide the brush head from tooth to tooth, brushing the outsides, then the insides, and finally the chewing surfaces (4). Do not press too hard; let the brush do the work.
- A short stuttering sound every 30 seconds reminds you to brush all four quadrants equally. A long stuttering sound indicates the end of the recommended 2-minute brushing time (3).
- If the toothbrush is turned off during brushing, the elapsed time is memorized for 30 seconds. Pauses longer than 30 seconds reset the timer.
- Turn off the handle while the brush head is still in the mouth.
Initial gum bleeding may occur in the first few days but should stop within a few days. Consult a dentist if bleeding persists for over 2 weeks.
Brushing Modes
- "Sensitive": Gentle, yet thorough cleaning for sensitive areas.
- "Daily Clean": Standard mode for daily mouth cleaning.
How to switch modes: The toothbrush starts in "Sensitive" mode. Press the on/off button (B) to switch modes. Hold the button to turn off the toothbrush.
Replacement Brush Heads
Oral-B Stages Power brush heads are available at retailers or Oral-B Braun Service Centres.
The brush head features blue INDICATOR® bristles that fade halfway in about 3 months with proper brushing (twice daily for 2 minutes) (see diagram). If bristles splay before fading, too much pressure is being applied (excessive pressure indicator).
Cleaning Recommendations
- After brushing, rinse the brush head under running water with the handle on for several seconds.
- Turn off the handle and remove the brush head. Rinse both parts separately and dry them before reassembling.
- Periodically clean the charging unit with a damp cloth (5).
