Introduction

The BEETRO HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) Air Spray Gun is designed for efficient and precise application of various coating materials. Its advanced technology ensures a higher transfer of materials, reducing overspray and material waste by up to 30-40%.

This spray gun is equipped with durable stainless steel nozzles and features an ergonomic design for comfortable use. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including automotive refinishing, industrial painting, woodworking, and household projects.

Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are clean and properly assembled.

  1. Nozzle Installation: The 1.4mm stainless steel nozzle is pre-installed on the spray gun. For different applications, the included 1.8mm nozzle set can be installed.
  2. Connect Air Supply: Attach the 1/4" connector to your air compressor hose. Ensure the air control valve is properly connected to the gun's air inlet.
  3. Attach Paint Cup: Securely attach the 1000ml aluminum cup to the top of the spray gun. This gun also supports Type 2 Adapter (original series) for disposable cups (PPS Cup NOT included).
  4. Fill Paint Cup: Fill the cup with your desired paint material, ensuring it is properly thinned according to the paint manufacturer's recommendations. The gun is compatible with water-based paints.

Operating Instructions

The BEETRO HVLP spray gun offers three adjustable knobs for precise painting control:

  • Fluid Control (Needle Adjust Knob): Regulates the amount of paint sprayed. Turn clockwise to decrease fluid output, counter-clockwise to increase.
  • Pattern Control: Adjusts the fan pattern size from a round spot to a wide fan. This knob allows for a 450° adjustment for more precise control.
  • Air Adjustment Valve: Provides versatility to adjust air flow, allowing fine-tuning of atomization and spray quality.

Important: The maximum working pressure is 3.0 bar (43 psi). Do not exceed this pressure.

Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your spray gun.

  • Cleaning: The gun features a "No O-ring design" which makes it easy to clean with chemical agents and thinners. After each use, thoroughly clean the paint cup, nozzle, and fluid passages.
  • Filter: The super-precision external mix cap includes a filter for optimal pattern. Ensure this filter is clean and free of debris.
  • Non-Drip Cup: The non-drip cup design helps prevent paint wasting and reduces mess, simplifying cleanup.
  • Storage: Store the spray gun in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your spray gun, consider the following common solutions:
