4. Setup and Initial Charge
- Unpack: Carefully remove the lantern and all accessories from the packaging.
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the lantern. Connect the smaller end of the included USB charging cable to the Micro-USB input port on the lantern (located under a protective flap). Connect the larger USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- Charging Indicator: A red indicator light will illuminate during charging. The light will turn green when the battery is fully charged. A full charge typically takes 7-8 hours with a 5V 1A input.
- Disconnect: Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable and close the protective flap over the port to maintain water resistance.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Turning On/Off and Changing Light Modes
The lantern features a single ON/OFF button that also controls the light modes.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF button once to turn on the lantern. It will typically start in Daylight mode.
- Change Modes: Short press the ON/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through the four light modes: Daylight → Warm Light → Combined → Flash.
- Power Off: After cycling through all modes, pressing the button one more time will turn the lantern off. Alternatively, if the lantern is on for more than 5 seconds in any mode, a single press will turn it off.
5.2 Dimming Function (Stepless Dimming)
To adjust the brightness of any light mode:
- While the lantern is on in any mode (except Flash), press and hold the ON/OFF button. The brightness will gradually increase or decrease.
- Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached.
- The lantern will remember the last brightness setting for each mode when turned off and on again.

5.3 Using as a Power Bank
The lantern can be used to charge external devices via its USB-A output port.
- Connect Device: Open the protective flap covering the USB output port. Connect your device's charging cable (USB-A end) to the lantern's USB output port.
- Charging: The lantern will begin charging your device. The output is 5V 1A.
- Monitor: Monitor your device's charging status. The lantern's battery level will decrease during this process.
- Disconnect: Once charging is complete or you wish to stop, disconnect your device and close the protective flap.

6. Maintenance
- Regular Charging: If not in regular use, charge the lantern every 3-6 months to maintain battery health and ensure readiness for emergencies.
