3. Setup and First Use

Before First Use:

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the appliance.
  2. Clean the cooking basket and crisper plate thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry completely.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  4. Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides, and above the appliance for proper ventilation.

4. Operating the Air Fryer

The Midea 2L Air Fryer offers a 5-in-1 multi-cooker functionality for frying, grilling, baking, roasting, and defrosting.

General Operation:

  1. Place the crisper plate inside the cooking basket.
  2. Place your food into the cooking basket. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  3. Slide the cooking basket back into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
  4. Set the desired temperature using the temperature control knob (80°C to 200°C).
  5. Set the desired cooking time using the timer knob (up to 60 minutes). The power and heating indicator lights will illuminate.
  6. The air fryer will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero, indicated by an audible ring.
  7. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food. Use heat-resistant utensils.

Cooking Tips:

  • For best results, shake the basket halfway through cooking for items like fries or chicken nuggets to ensure even browning.
  • Some foods may require a small amount of oil (1-2 teaspoons) for extra crispiness, but many can be cooked without any added oil.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
