1. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your CIARRA induction hob. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified electrician.
1.1 Installation Requirements
- Ensure the countertop cut-out dimensions match the hob's requirements. The standard cut-out for this model is 56 x 49 cm.
- Allow for adequate ventilation around the hob. Maintain a minimum clearance of 3mm from the bottom of the hob to any underlying surface and 50mm from the sides to cabinet walls.
- The hob requires a dedicated electrical circuit with appropriate voltage and wattage (7200W total, 240V).

1.3 Cookware Compatibility
Only use cookware suitable for induction hobs. Compatible cookware typically has a flat bottom and is made of ferromagnetic material (e.g., cast iron, enameled steel, stainless steel with a magnetic base). A simple test is to see if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan.

2.2 Power Boost Function
The Power Boost function increases the output of a selected cooking zone by up to 50%, saving significant cooking time for tasks like boiling water or searing. All cooking zones have a booster function. However, due to power distribution reasons, if the booster function is turned on in both cooking zones on the same side (e.g., top-left and bottom-left), they will automatically set to power level 9.
- Select the cooking zone you wish to boost.
- Press the 'B' (Booster) button. The power display for that zone will show 'P', indicating the boost is active.
- After 5 minutes, the booster stops automatically, and the cooking zone switches back to power level 9.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your induction hob.

- Always allow the hob to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild detergent and warm water.
