Setup

  1. Charge the Mouse: Before first use, connect the micro-USB charging cable to the mouse's charging port (located at the front) and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status.
  2. Insert USB Receiver: Locate the USB receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the underside of the mouse. Remove it and plug it into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Power On: Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch located on the underside of the mouse.
  4. Automatic Connection: The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. No additional drivers are typically required for most operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions

  • Left Click: Primary selection and activation.
  • Right Click: Opens context menus.
  • Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content vertically. Can also be pressed for middle-click functionality.

DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a DPI (Dots Per Inch) button, usually located behind the scroll wheel, allowing you to adjust cursor sensitivity. Press this button to cycle through different DPI settings. Higher DPI means the cursor moves faster across the screen with less physical mouse movement.

Side Buttons

The mouse is equipped with side buttons, typically for "Forward" and "Backward" navigation in web browsers or file explorers. Their functionality may vary depending on the application or operating system settings.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Battery Care: The mouse contains a rechargeable battery. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the low battery indicator appears.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Mouse not responding
  • Ensure the mouse is turned on.
  • Check if the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
  • Charge the mouse. Low battery can cause unresponsiveness.
  • Restart your computer.
Cursor movement is erratic or jumpy
  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
  • Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective surface. A mouse pad is recommended.
  • Ensure there are no strong wireless interferences nearby (e.g., other 2.4GHz devices).
Mouse not charging
  • Verify the charging cable is properly connected to both the mouse and the power source.
