Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your hand dryer.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the ABS polycarbonate construction.
- Filter Maintenance: Periodically check and clean the air filter located at the bottom of the unit. Gently slide out the filter cover and remove the filter. Clean it with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. Reinsert the clean filter and close the cover.
- Sensor Cleaning: Ensure the sensor area is free from dust or obstructions for proper automatic activation.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your AIKE hand dryer, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the outlet has power by testing it with another device.
- Not Activating: Ensure your hands are within the specified sensing distance (110-130mm) and that the sensor is clean and unobstructed.
- Weak Airflow: Check if the air filter is clean and not clogged with dust. A dirty filter can restrict airflow.
- Overheating/Automatic Shut-off: The unit has automatic heating and overload protection. If it shuts off unexpectedly, allow it to cool down before attempting to use it again. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
