3. Setup and Installation

3.1 What's Included

Your VANMASS Phone Holder package includes the following components:

• Phone Mount (Clamp Arm) x1
• Suction Cup Mount x1
• Air Vent Clip x1
• Dashboard Pad (for textured surfaces) x1

3.2 Suction Cup Mount Installation

1. Clean the Surface: Ensure the dashboard or windshield surface is clean and dry. Use the provided wet and dry wipes for optimal adhesion.
2. Attach Dashboard Pad (Optional): If your dashboard is textured or uneven, peel the protective film from the dashboard pad and firmly press it onto the desired location. Wait for 24 hours before attaching the suction cup for maximum adhesion. (Note: NEW upgraded suction cup can be directly adsorbed to dash without pad! Pad is easy to damage the dashboard!)
3. Attach Suction Cup: Remove the protective film from the suction cup. Press the suction cup firmly onto the clean surface (or dashboard pad) and then push down the locking lever to create a strong vacuum seal.
4. Connect Phone Holder: Snap the phone holder (clamp arm) onto the ball joint of the suction cup mount. Tighten the nut to secure the holder in place.

3.3 Air Vent Clip Mount Installation

1. Attach Air Vent Clip: Snap the air vent clip onto the ball joint of the phone holder (clamp arm). Tighten the nut to secure it.
2. Secure to Air Vent: Open the clip on the air vent mount and slide it onto a horizontal or vertical vent blade. Push the lever to lock it securely. The steel-cored clip with soft-silicone-pads protects your vent blade from scratches.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Inserting Your Phone

1. Open Clamp Arms: Press the release button located on the back of the phone holder. The clamp arms will automatically open wide.
2. Place Phone: Gently place your 4"-7" smartphone into the holder. The integrated molding bracket ensures data safety. The wide bottom tray (0.96in) is compatible with various charging cables.
3. Secure Phone: The clamp arms will automatically close and secure your phone. The shock-proof silicone on the sides and curved bottom feet protect your device.

4.2 Removing Your Phone

To remove your phone, simply press the quick-release button on the back of the holder. The clamp arms will open, allowing you to retrieve your device easily.

4.3 Adjusting Viewing Angle and Orientation

The VANMASS Phone Holder features a 360-degree rotation capability and a long adjustable arm (5"-7.5" length). This allows you to adjust your phone to any desired viewing angle, whether portrait or landscape, ensuring optimal visibility and accessibility while driving or working.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Suction Cup: If the suction cup loses its stickiness, rinse it with warm water and let it air dry. It will regain its adhesion and can be reused.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the phone holder with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Temperature Exposure: While designed for extreme temperatures (-40~194℉), prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme cold without use may affect material longevity.

6. Troubleshooting

• Suction Cup Not Sticking:
  • Ensure the dashboard or windshield surface is clean, dry, and flat.
  • If using the dashboard pad, ensure it has cured for 24 hours before attaching the suction cup.
  • Rinse the suction cup with water and air dry to restore stickiness.
• Phone Not Fitting Securely:
  • Ensure your phone size is within the 4"-7" compatibility range.
  • The holder supports thick cases up to 0.7" depth. Ensure your case is not exceeding this limit or interfering with the clamp arms.
• Vent Clip Loose:
  • Ensure the vent clip is fully engaged and locked onto the vent blade.
  • Verify your car's vent type is compatible (horizontal/vertical blades, not round or diagonal).
