Setup

1. Unpack all components from the packaging.
2. Wash the egg bite/poaching tray, 6-egg insert, lid, and water measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Place the base unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from any flammable materials.
4. Ensure the electrical cord is not tangled or obstructing any pathways.

Operating Instructions

Note: This appliance does not have an ON/OFF switch. It begins heating immediately when plugged into an electrical outlet and stops when the water has completely evaporated or when unplugged.

A. Making Egg Bites

1. Using the water measuring cup, fill to the 'Egg Bites' line with cold water and pour it directly onto the heating plate of the base unit.
2. Lightly grease the nonstick egg bite/poaching tray to prevent sticking.
3. Prepare your egg mixture (e.g., whisked eggs with desired ingredients) and pour it into the two cups of the egg bite/poaching tray. Do not overfill.
4. Place the filled egg bite/poaching tray onto the base unit.
5. Cover the tray with the lid.
6. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. The red power indicator light and green cooking indicator light will illuminate.
7. The green light will turn off when the water has evaporated and the egg bites are cooked. Unplug the appliance immediately.
8. Carefully remove the lid and the egg bite/poaching tray using oven mitts or a cloth, as components will be hot. Allow the egg bites to cool slightly before serving.

B. Making Poached Eggs

1. Using the water measuring cup, fill to the 'Poached' line with cold water and pour it onto the heating plate of the base unit.
2. Lightly grease the nonstick egg bite/poaching tray.
3. Crack one egg into each cup of the egg bite/poaching tray.
4. Place the filled egg bite/poaching tray onto the base unit.
5. Cover the tray with the lid.
6. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. The red power indicator light and green cooking indicator light will illuminate.
7. The green light will turn off when the water has evaporated and the poached eggs are cooked. Unplug the appliance immediately.
8. Carefully remove the lid and the egg bite/poaching tray. Allow the poached eggs to cool slightly before serving.

C. Making Hard-Boiled Eggs

1. Using the water measuring cup, fill to the desired doneness line (Soft, Medium, or Hard) with cold water and pour it onto the heating plate of the base unit.
2. Place the 6-egg insert onto the base unit.
3. Carefully place up to six eggs into the designated slots of the 6-egg insert.
4. Cover the insert with the lid.
5. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. The red power indicator light and green cooking indicator light will illuminate.
6. The green light will turn off when the water has evaporated and the hard-boiled eggs are cooked. Unplug the appliance immediately.
7. Carefully remove the lid and the 6-egg insert. Immediately transfer the cooked eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and facilitate easier peeling.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your egg cooker.

• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• The nonstick egg bite/poaching tray, 6-egg insert, lid, and water measuring cup are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). They can also be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
• Removing Mineral Deposits: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate on the heating plate. To remove these, pour approximately 1/4 cup (60 ml) of white vinegar onto the heating plate and let it stand for 5-10 minutes. Pour out the vinegar and wipe the heating plate clean with a damp cloth. Repeat this process if necessary until all deposits are removed.
