5. Installation
5.1 Mounting
The Sonero S-DOTH10 is designed for easy installation on a standard DIN rail (35mm) within an electrical distribution board or control panel.
- Ensure the DIN rail is securely mounted.
- Align the timer with the DIN rail and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove, pull the latch at the bottom of the timer and lift it off the rail.

5.2 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the wiring diagram printed on the side of the device for correct electrical connections. Typically, terminals 1 and 2 are for power input (L and N), and terminals 3, 4, and 5 are for the switched output (e.g., common, normally open, normally closed). 6. Setup
6.1 Initial Power-Up and Reset
Upon initial power-up or after a power outage, the display may be blank or show incorrect time. The device has an internal battery to retain settings, but a reset might be necessary.
- Press the 'R' (Reset) button using a pointed object (e.g., a pen tip) to clear all settings and reset the timer. The display will show '0:00'.
6.2 Setting Current Time and Day
To set the current time and day:
- Press and hold the Clock button.
- While holding the Clock button, press the W+ button to set the current day of the week (1=Mon, 2=Tue, etc.).
- While holding the Clock button, press the H+ button to set the current hour.
- While holding the Clock button, press the M+ button to set the current minute.
- Release the Clock button to save the settings.
6.3 12/24 Hour Mode and Daylight Saving
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display modes, and to adjust for daylight saving time:
- Press the Clock button and the MANUAL button simultaneously to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats.
- Press the Clock button and the H+ button simultaneously to activate/deactivate daylight saving time (+1 hour). An 'S' will appear on the display when active.
7. Operating Instructions: Programming
The Sonero S-DOTH10 allows you to set up to 10 ON/OFF switching programs.
7.1 Setting ON/OFF Programs
- Press the Clock button once to enter program setting mode. The display will show '1 ON'.
- Press W+ to select the day(s) for the first ON program. You can choose from 16 different combinations (e.g., Mon-Sun, Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun, individual days).
- Press H+ to set the hour for the first ON program.
- Press M+ to set the minute for the first ON program.
- Press the Clock button again. The display will show '1 OFF'.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to set the day(s), hour, and minute for the first OFF program.
- Continue pressing the Clock button to cycle through '2 ON', '2 OFF', up to '10 ON', '10 OFF', setting each program as needed.
- After setting all desired programs, press the Clock button until the current time is displayed to exit program setting mode.
7.2 Manual Override
The MANUAL button allows you to override the programmed settings temporarily or permanently.
- Press the MANUAL button repeatedly to cycle through the modes: ON AUTO OFF.
- ON: The output is continuously ON, ignoring all programs.
- OFF: The output is continuously OFF, ignoring all programs.
- AUTO: The timer operates according to the programmed ON/OFF settings.
8. Maintenance
