Setup and Installation
The VANMASS Phone Holder offers multiple installation options to suit your vehicle and preference: dashboard, windshield, or air vent.
Suction Cup Installation (Dashboard/Windshield)
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the chosen surface (dashboard or windshield) is smooth, flat, and clean. Use the provided wet and dry wipes to thoroughly clean the area. Allow it to dry completely.
- Attach the Suction Cup: Remove the protective film from the suction cup. Press the suction cup firmly onto the cleaned surface.
- Lock the Suction: Push down the locking lever on the suction cup base to create a strong vacuum seal.
- Attach the Phone Cradle: Loosen the locking nut on the back of the phone cradle. Align the ball joint of the suction cup arm with the socket on the back of the cradle and push it in. Tighten the locking nut to secure the cradle.
- Adjust Position: Adjust the telescopic arm and the 360° swivel ball head to achieve your desired viewing angle. Ensure the holder does not obstruct your driving view.
Important Tip: The suction cup mount is not suitable for curved surfaces, leather, or fabric dashboards. For these surfaces, use the included vent clip or mount on the windshield.

Air Vent Installation
- Attach the Vent Clip: Loosen the locking nut on the back of the phone cradle. Align the ball joint of the vent clip with the socket on the back of the cradle and push it in. Tighten the locking nut.
- Secure to Vent: Open the vent clip and slide it onto a horizontal or vertical vent blade. Adjust the 3-level lever to secure it firmly. The soft silicone pads protect your vent blades from scratches.
Important Tip: The vent clip is designed for standard horizontal/vertical slats and is not compatible with round, cross, or diagonal vent designs.

Operating Instructions
Inserting Your Phone
- Open the Clamp Arms: Press the release button located on the back of the phone cradle. The clamp arms will automatically open.
- Place Your Phone: Gently place your smartphone into the cradle. The extendable holder feet (depth + 0.6") and clamp arms (width max. 4.3"; min. 2.1") will accommodate phones from 4 to 7 inches, with or without a case.
- Secure Your Phone: The clamp arms will automatically close around your phone, providing a secure grip.
Removing Your Phone
- One-Hand Release: Press the release button on the back of the phone cradle. The clamp arms will open, allowing you to easily remove your phone.
Adjusting Viewing Angle
- Telescopic Arm: The arm can be extended from 4.45 to 6.61 inches to bring your phone closer or further away.
