Setup

1. Charging the Microphone

Before initial use, fully charge the microphone's internal battery. Locate the Micro USB charging port at the bottom of the microphone. Connect the provided Micro USB cable to the microphone and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or computer USB port). The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately one hour and provides up to 4 hours of playtime.

2. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power button (usually indicated by a power symbol) on the microphone's handle to turn the device on or off. The LED lights will activate upon powering on.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the microphone is powered on. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices and select "Singing Machine" or "SMM548" from the list.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the microphone will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio from your device through the microphone's speaker.

Operating Instructions

Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the microphone's handle to adjust the microphone's output volume. The speaker volume is controlled by your connected Bluetooth device.

2. Voice Changer Effects

Press the "FX" button repeatedly to cycle through the six built-in voice changer effects: Echo, Female, Male, Chipmunk, Robot, and Radio. Experiment with each effect to enhance your performance.

3. Lead Vocal Removal

Press the "VOCALS" button to activate or deactivate the lead vocal removal feature. This function attempts to reduce the main vocal track from a song, allowing you to sing along more prominently.

4. Light Effects

The microphone features multi-colored LED lights that synchronize with the music, creating a dynamic visual experience. These lights activate automatically when the microphone is powered on.
