Setup and Assembly

No tools are required for the assembly of this shelving unit. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Attach Leveling Feet: Screw the four leveling feet into the threaded inserts at the bottom of the lower pole sections.
  2. Connect Pole Sections: Connect one upper pole section to one lower pole section by screwing them together. Repeat for all four sets of poles.
  3. Position Plastic Sleeves: On each of the four assembled poles, snap two plastic sleeves into the grooves at the desired height for your bottom shelf. Ensure the arrow on each plastic sleeve points UPWARDS. These sleeves are tapered and must be oriented correctly for the shelf to seat properly.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Shelf Height

The wire shelves are adjustable in 1-inch increments, allowing you to customize the spacing to fit your storage needs.

  1. Remove all items from the shelf you wish to adjust.
  2. Lift the shelf slightly to disengage it from the plastic sleeves.
  3. Remove the plastic sleeves from the poles.
  4. Re-position the plastic sleeves at the desired new height, ensuring the arrows point upwards and they are at the same level on all four poles.
  5. Carefully lower the shelf back onto the re-positioned plastic sleeves, ensuring it locks securely into place.

Leveling the Unit

The shelving unit is equipped with four leveling feet to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.

  • Once the unit is assembled and placed in its desired location, check for any wobbling.
  • Identify the corner(s) that need adjustment.
  • Turn the leveling foot clockwise to lower that corner or counter-clockwise to raise it until the unit is stable and level.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the shelving unit with a dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all connections and ensure shelves are securely seated on the plastic sleeves. Verify that the leveling feet are properly adjusted and the unit remains stable.
  • Weight Distribution: Always ensure weight is distributed evenly across the shelves and does not exceed the stated weight capacities.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Unit is wobbly or unstable.
Solution:
  • Ensure the leveling feet are properly adjusted to compensate for uneven flooring.
  • Verify that all shelves are fully seated and locked onto the plastic sleeves. Apply downward pressure on each corner of the shelf to ensure it clicks into place.
  • Check that the plastic sleeves are installed with the arrow pointing upwards, as incorrect orientation can prevent proper seating.
Issue: Difficulty installing shelves or plastic sleeves.
Solution:
  • Ensure the plastic sleeves are snapped firmly into the grooves on the poles.
  • Confirm the plastic sleeves are oriented correctly with the arrow pointing upwards. The tapered design requires this for the shelf collars to slide over them.
  • When installing a shelf, ensure all four corner collars are aligned with the poles and sleeves before applying even downward pressure.
