Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your Icron ICR-3104 Raven USB 3-2-1 Extender System:

  1. Connect the Local Extender (LEX) to the Host Computer:

    Connect one end of the provided USB 3.1 cable to the USB port on the LEX unit and the other end to an available USB 3.1 port on your host computer.

  2. Connect USB Devices to the Remote Extender (REX):

    Connect your USB 3.1, 2.0, or 1.1 devices (e.g., cameras, keyboards, mice, flash drives) to the USB ports on the REX unit.

  3. Connect LEX and REX with CAT Cable:

    Connect a single CAT 6a or CAT 7 Ethernet cable (up to 100 meters / 328 feet) between the "Link" ports on both the LEX and REX units. Ensure the cable is properly terminated and meets the specified category requirements for optimal performance.

  4. Connect Power Adapters:

    Connect the power adapter(s) to the power input jack(s) on both the LEX and REX units, then plug them into a power outlet. The system will power on automatically.
