3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Microphone

Before first use, fully charge the microphone. The built-in Li-18650 battery has a capacity of 1800mAh.

  1. Connect the provided charging cable to the Micro USB port on the microphone.
  2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a DC 5V power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate (refer to the device for specific light behavior, typically red during charging and off/blue when fully charged).
  4. Charging typically takes 2-3 hours for a full charge.

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on and you hear a prompt.
  • To power off: Press and hold the power button again for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Bluetooth Connection

The microphone connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your mobile phone or other compatible devices.

  1. Ensure the microphone is powered on. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing light or voice prompt).
  2. On your mobile phone or device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "WS-858" (or similar name) from the list of found devices to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will stop flashing.

4.2 Using the Microphone for Karaoke

After connecting via Bluetooth, you can play music from your device through the microphone's built-in speaker and sing along.

  • Music Playback: Use your connected device to play music from any karaoke app or music player. The audio will output through the microphone's speaker.
  • Microphone Volume: Adjust the microphone's volume using the dedicated "MIC VOL" button or slider on the device.
  • Echo/Reverb: Control the echo effect using the "REMIX" button or slider to enhance your vocals.

4.3 Wired Connection (AUX)

The microphone can also be connected to devices using the provided 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Connect one end of the audio cable to the AUX port on the microphone.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output (headphone jack) of your device.
  3. The microphone will automatically switch to AUX mode.

4.4 Selfie Function

The WS-858 includes a selfie function.
