5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your cooker hood.
5.1 Cleaning Grease Filters
The aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain optimal performance and prevent grease buildup.
- To remove the filters, locate the release clips and gently pull down.
- Wash the filters by hand using warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- Ensure filters are completely dry before re-installing.

5.2 Replacing Active Carbon Filters (for Recirculation Mode)
If using the hood in recirculation mode, the active carbon filters (CBCF002X2) need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. These filters cannot be washed.
- Remove the grease filters as described above.
- Twist the carbon filters to unlock and remove them.
- Install new carbon filters by aligning and twisting to lock.
- Re-install the grease filters.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your cooker hood, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Hood not operating: Check if the power cable is properly connected and if the circuit breaker is on. Ensure the telescopic panel is fully extended if using the memory function.
- Low suction power: Clean or replace the grease filters. If in recirculation mode, replace the active carbon filters. Ensure the ducting (if applicable) is not blocked or kinked.
- Excessive noise: Check for loose parts or improper installation. Ensure filters are correctly installed.
- Lights not working: Check if the light switch is on. If individual LEDs are out, they may need replacement by a qualified technician.
