4.1 Initial Charging

5.1 Basic Operations
- Changing Units: Hold the 'UNITS' button for 3 seconds to switch between Ft (feet), Ft+In (feet and inches), In (inches), and M (meters).
- Changing Measurement Reference: Press the 'UNITS' button briefly to change the measurement reference point (front or rear of the device).

5.2 Measurement Modes Explained
- Single Distance Measurement: Press the 'LASER ON' button once to activate the laser, then press it again to take a single measurement.
- Continuous Measurement: Long press the 'LASER ON' button to enter continuous measurement mode. The device will continuously update the distance as you move. Press again to stop.
- Area Measurement: Press the 'Area/Volume/Pythagoras' button until the area icon appears. Take two consecutive distance measurements (length and width). The device will automatically calculate and display the area.
- Volume Measurement: Press the 'Area/Volume/Pythagoras' button until the volume icon appears. Take three consecutive distance measurements (length, width, and height). The device will calculate and display the volume.
- Pythagorean Method (2-Point): Press the 'Area/Volume/Pythagoras' button until the 2-point Pythagorean icon appears. Measure the hypotenuse and one leg of a right triangle. The device calculates the other leg.
- Pythagorean Method (3-Point): Press the 'Area/Volume/Pythagoras' button until the 3-point Pythagorean icon appears. Measure the hypotenuse, then the two legs. This mode is useful for indirect height or distance measurements.
