1. Introduction

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Physical Installation

3.2 Wiring Instructions

The switch panel comes pre-wired for ease of installation. It is compatible with both 12V and 24V DC systems. Each switch is a 5-pin SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) ON/OFF rocker switch.

Basic Wiring Overview:

  • Connect the main positive (+) wire (red) from the panel to your battery's positive terminal.
  • Connect the main negative (-) wire (black) from the panel to your battery's negative terminal or a suitable ground point.
  • Connect the positive (+) wire of your accessory (load) to the output terminal of the desired switch.
  • Connect the negative (-) wire of your accessory to a suitable ground point.

3.4 Using a Master Switch

You can configure one of the switches as a master switch to control the power to other switches. This requires rewiring the internal jumper wires.

4. Operating the Switch Panel

Each rocker switch controls an individual circuit. To activate an accessory, press the top part of the rocker switch. To deactivate, press the bottom part.

4.1 LED Lighting Effect

The switches feature blue LED backlighting. There are two common configurations for the LED indicators:

  • Configuration A (Lower Light Always On): The lower dash light on the switch illuminates when the panel receives power, indicating the switch is ready for use. The upper light illuminates when the switch is turned ON. This configuration is useful for locating switches in the dark with low power consumption.
  • Configuration B (Lower Light Only On When Switched): The lower dash light will only illuminate when the switch is turned to the ON position.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power to Panel: Check the main positive and negative connections to the battery. Ensure the battery has sufficient charge.
  • Individual Switch Not Working: Verify the accessory's positive and negative connections. Check for any loose wires or blown fuses in the circuit.
  • LED Not Illuminating: Confirm the wiring configuration for the LED (refer to Section 4.1). Ensure the switch is receiving power.
  • Intermittent Function: Inspect all connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure proper wire gauge is used for the load.
