5. Operating Instructions

The Igzyz Pen Camera operates with a single multi-function button.

5.1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. The red indicator light will turn on and remain solid, indicating the camera is in standby mode.
• Power Off: In any active state (standby or recording), press and hold the power button until the red light turns off. The camera will power down.

5.2. Taking Photos

• While in standby mode (red light solid), briefly press the power button once. The red light will flash once, and a photo will be taken and saved.

5.3. Recording Video

• While in standby mode (red light solid), press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. The red light will flash 3 times and then turn off, indicating that video recording has started.

5.4. Motion Detection Recording

• While in standby mode (red light solid), quickly press the power button twice. The red light will flash rapidly 5 times and then turn off. The camera is now in motion detection standby. When motion is detected, the red light will flash slowly, and recording will begin.

5.5. Audio Recording

• While in standby mode (red light solid), quickly press the power button three times. The red light will flash 3 times and then turn off, indicating that audio recording has started.

5.6. Saving Files

• During any recording process (video, motion detection, or audio), briefly press the power button once. The red light will turn solid, indicating the file has been saved, and the camera has returned to standby mode.

6. Data Transfer

To access your recorded files:

1. Direct Connection: Connect the pen camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The device should appear as a removable disk.
2. Using SD Card Reader: Alternatively, remove the Micro SD card from the pen camera and insert it into the provided SD card reader. Connect the card reader to your computer's USB port.
