Setup

1. Insert SIM Card

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the right side of your iPhone.
  2. Use a SIM eject tool (not included) or a small paperclip to open the SIM tray.
  3. Place your nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down.
  4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the iPhone.

2. Power On and Initial Setup

  1. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and region.
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  4. Set up Touch ID and create a passcode.
  5. Sign in with your Apple ID or create a new one.
  6. Restore data from a backup (iCloud or computer) or set up as a new iPhone.
