3. Connect Sender to Receiver via LAN Cable: Run a single CAT5e/6/7 LAN cable between the RJ45 ports on the Sender and Receiver units. Ensure the cable is properly terminated and meets HDBaseT specifications for optimal performance and distance.
4. Connect Receiver to Remote Display: Connect the HDMI OUT port on the Receiver unit to your remote HDMI display (e.g., TV, projector) using a high-quality HDMI cable.

• Bi-directional IR Control: Use your original remote control at either the source or display location. The IR Blaster and Receiver cables will relay the signals, allowing you to control devices remotely.
• CEC Pass-through: If your connected devices support CEC, they should communicate and control each other as usual through the extender.
• HDMI Loop-out: The local display connected to the Sender's HDMI Loop Out port will mirror the content being sent to the remote display.
• Audio Output: The dedicated audio output on the Receiver allows you to extract the audio signal from the HDMI stream and route it to a separate audio system for enhanced sound.

  • Ensure the IR receiver is positioned to receive signals from your remote control.
• HDBaseT Compatibility: OREI HDBaseT models are designed to work only with their own matching transmitter and receiver. They are not interchangeable with other OREI HDBaseT models, nor compatible with HDBaseT devices from other brands, due to chipset differences. Always use the included or recommended pair from the same model.
