- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Connect the left and right side rails to the headboard using the provided bolts and washers. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Attach Footboard: Connect the footboard to the other ends of the side rails. Ensure all connections are aligned. Now, tighten all bolts securely using the Allen wrench or ratchet tool.
- Install Center Support Beam: Attach the center support beam to the designated brackets on the headboard and footboard. Secure with bolts.
- Attach Support Legs: Screw the adjustable support legs into the center support beam and any other designated points on the frame. Adjust them so they firmly touch the floor.
- Place Wood Slats: Lay the wood slats across the bed frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced. The Zinus slats often come with a non-slip tape to keep your mattress in place. Peel off the protective film from the tape on the slats.
