Setup

1. Charging Your Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your Soundcore Life U2 headphones. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the neckband and to a power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. A quick 5-minute charge provides 2 hours of playtime.

2. Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button on the neckband until the LED indicator flashes blue.
• Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button until the LED indicator flashes red and then turns off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
2. Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "Soundcore Life U2".
4. Select "Soundcore Life U2" from the list of available devices to connect. The LED indicator will turn solid blue once connected.

4. Choosing the Right EarTips and EarWings

For optimal sound quality and comfort, select the EarTips and EarWings that best fit your ears. Experiment with different sizes (XS/S/M/L/XL EarTips, S/M/L EarWings) to find the most secure and comfortable fit.

Dual-EQ Modes (Normal / BassUp)

The Soundcore Life U2 features two equalization modes for customized sound. Press the EQ button on the neckband to switch between Normal mode and BassUp mode. BassUp mode enhances bass output for a richer audio experience.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean your headphones, especially the eartips, to maintain hygiene and sound quality. Use a soft, dry cloth. For eartips, you can gently wipe them with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.

Storage

When not in use, the earbuds feature built-in magnets that allow them to effortlessly clip together, preventing tangles and making storage convenient. Store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Water Resistance (IPX7)

The Soundcore Life U2 headphones are IPX7 waterproof, meaning they are protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). This makes them suitable for workouts and use in light rain. Do not submerge them in saltwater or use them for swimming.

Troubleshooting

No Sound or Intermittent Connection

• Ensure the headphones are fully charged.
• Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headphones are paired.
• Move closer to your device; the wireless range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
• Try unpairing and re-pairing the headphones with your device.
• Restart both your headphones and your device.

Poor Call Quality

• Ensure the microphone is not obstructed.
• Move to a quieter environment if there is excessive background noise. The CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology helps, but extreme noise can still affect clarity.
• Check your device's call volume settings.

Headphones Not Charging

• Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the headphones and the power source.
• Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
• Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
