1. Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the washing machine is connected to a properly grounded power outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters. Disconnect the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance.
• Water Connections: Connect the water inlet hoses securely to prevent leaks. Ensure the drain hose is properly installed to avoid flooding.
• Child Safety: Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation. Do not allow children to play with the washing machine.
• Flammable Materials: Do not wash items that have been cleaned, washed, soaked, or spotted with combustible or explosive substances such as gasoline, kerosene, or paint thinner.
• Appliance Placement: Install the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

1. Remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film.
2. Remove the transport bolts located at the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed before use. Keep them for future transport.

3.2 Location and Leveling

Place the washing machine on a solid, level floor. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine until it is perfectly stable and does not wobble. Use a spirit level to ensure accuracy.

3.3 Water Supply Connection

Connect the cold water inlet hose to the cold water tap and the corresponding inlet valve on the back of the washing machine. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.

3.4 Drain Hose Connection

Insert the drain hose into a standpipe or secure it over the edge of a sink. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked and is positioned at an appropriate height (between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor).

3.5 Electrical Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications of your appliance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Loading Laundry

Open the door and load laundry into the drum. Do not overload the machine; leave enough space for clothes to tumble freely. Close the door firmly.

4.2 Adding Detergent and Softener

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the main wash compartment and fabric softener to the designated compartment. Refer to detergent packaging for dosage recommendations.

4.3 Selecting a Wash Program

Turn the program selector dial or press the program buttons to choose the desired wash cycle (e.g., Cotton, Synthetics, Delicates, Quick Wash). Additional options like temperature, spin speed, and extra rinse can be selected if available.

4.4 Starting a Wash Cycle

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the selected wash cycle. The machine will automatically fill with water and start washing.

4.5 Pausing/Canceling a Cycle

To pause a cycle, press the Start/Pause button. To cancel a cycle, press and hold the Start/Pause button for a few seconds, or turn the program selector to 'Off' and then select a new program.

4.6 End of Cycle

Once the cycle is complete, the machine will signal with an audible alert or display 'End'. Open the door and remove your laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and odors.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your washing machine.

5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser

Remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent residue. Clean the housing of the dispenser with a brush if necessary. Reinsert the drawer.

5.2 Cleaning the Drum

Periodically run a maintenance wash cycle (e.g., a hot wash with no laundry and a descaling agent or white vinegar) to clean the drum and remove any buildup.

5.3 Cleaning the Drain Filter

Locate the drain filter, usually at the bottom front of the machine. Place a shallow container underneath to catch any water. Unscrew the filter, clean out any lint or debris, and rinse it. Screw the filter back in securely.

5.4 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.5 Winterization (for non-heated environments)

If the machine is in an area subject to freezing temperatures, drain all water from the hoses and pump to prevent damage. Consult a technician if unsure.

6. Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer service, please refer to the following common issues and their solutions:

• Machine does not start: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in, the door is properly closed, and the Start/Pause button has been pressed. Ensure the water supply is turned on.
• Water not filling: Verify that the water taps are fully open and the inlet hoses are not kinked or blocked. Check if the water pressure is sufficient.
• Water not draining: Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the drain filter as described in Section 5.3.
• Excessive vibration or noise: Ensure the machine is level and all four feet are firmly on the floor. Check that the transport bolts were removed during installation. Distribute laundry evenly inside the drum.
• Laundry not spinning properly: Overloading or an unbalanced load can prevent proper spinning. Redistribute the laundry or reduce the load size. Check the drain filter for blockages.
• Error codes: If an error code appears on the display, consult the specific error code section in the full manual (if available) or contact customer support, providing the exact code displayed.
