Alpha support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
Where can I find instruction sheets for Alpha Aviation jacks?
Copies of instruction sheets are typically available on the official Alpha Aviation website or provided in the product box. You can also download them from our directory.
-
What type of oil should I use in my Alpha hydraulic jack?
Alpha recommends using commercially available 10W hydraulic jack oil. If unavailable, 10W mineral oil or 10W non-detergent motor oil can be substituted.
-
What is the warranty period for Alpha Aviation jacks?
Alpha Aviation Inc. (AAI) products are typically unconditionally warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
-
How do I bleed air from my hydraulic jack if it only rises on one stroke?
Air lock is common in new jacks. To clear it, pump the jack up about 12 inches, open the valve, and physically push the Ram down. If this fails, manually pull the Ram up to full extension with the valve open to pull oil through the chambers, then push it down.
-
How do I check the oil level in the jack?
Pump the unloaded jack to its maximum length. If the handle becomes difficult to pump (meaning oil is bypassing), the level is adequate. If the ram does not reach full extension, the unit may need more oil.
