4. Setup

The Poly Studio P009 is designed for flexible placement. It can be placed on a flat surface below a display or mounted on a wall.

  • Desktop Placement: Position the videobar centrally below your meeting room display. Ensure it has a clear line of sight to all participants.
  • Wall Mounting: (Optional, mounting hardware sold separately) If wall mounting, ensure the wall can support the weight of the device. Mount the videobar at eye level for optimal camera performance.

4.2 Connecting the Device

Follow these steps to connect the Poly Studio P009 to your computer and power source:

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the USB port on the Poly Studio P009.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer (PC or Mac).
  3. Connect the power adapter to the power input port on the Poly Studio P009.
  4. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The device will power on automatically.

Once connected, your computer should automatically detect the Poly Studio P009 as a USB camera, microphone, and speaker device.
