3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your Tristar Tower Fan:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Base Assembly: Place the fan body upright. Align the two halves of the base and snap them together around the bottom of the fan. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Power Connection: Place the fan on a stable, flat surface. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel is located on the top of the fan. It features touch-sensitive buttons and an LED display.

  • Power Button (⏻): Turns the fan on or off.
  • Speed Button (≈): Cycles through low, medium, and high-speed settings.
  • Mode Button (☀️): Selects between Normal, Natural, and Sleep modes.
  • Oscillation Button (↻): Activates or deactivates the oscillation function.
  • Timer Button (⏱): Sets the operating timer from 1 to 12 hours.

4.2 Remote Control Functions

The fan can also be operated using the included remote control.

  • The remote control duplicates all functions available on the main control panel.
  • Ensure the remote control is pointed towards the fan's receiver for optimal operation.
  • Requires 1 'A' battery (not included).

4.3 Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button (⏻) on the control panel or remote control to turn the fan on or off.
  2. Adjusting Speed: Press the Speed button (≈) repeatedly to cycle through Low, Medium, and High-speed settings.
  3. Selecting Mode: Press the Mode button (☀️) to choose between Normal (constant airflow), Natural (simulates natural breeze), and Sleep (quieter operation with dimming display) modes.
  4. Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button (↻) to start or stop the fan's side-to-side oscillation.
  5. Setting the Timer: Press the Timer button (⏱) repeatedly to set the desired operating time from 1 to 12 hours. The fan will automatically turn off after the set time.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the fan's performance and extends its lifespan.

  • Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
  • Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
  • Ensure the fan is completely dry before plugging it back in.

5.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the fan properly:

  • Unplug the fan and clean it thoroughly.
  • Coil the power cord neatly.
  • Store the fan in its original packaging or cover it to protect it from dust.
  • Keep the fan in a cool, dry place.
