3. Setup and Installation
This section guides you through the proper setup and installation of your portable air conditioner.
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
- Check for any shipping damage. If the unit is damaged, do not operate it and contact customer support.
- Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.
3.2 Window Kit Installation
The included window installation kit is designed for use with double-hung or sliding windows. It is not suitable for casement windows.
- Prepare the Window: Open the window to the desired width.
- Assemble the Window Panel: Connect the window panel pieces to fit your window opening. Ensure a secure fit.
- Install the Window Panel: Place the assembled window panel into the window opening and close the window securely against it. Use the provided foam seals to ensure an airtight fit and prevent air leakage.
- Attach Exhaust Hose to Unit: Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust port on the back of the portable air conditioner. Twist or snap into place as per the design.
- Attach Exhaust Hose to Window Panel: Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter on the window panel. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
- Position the Unit: Place the portable air conditioner on a level surface near the window, ensuring the exhaust hose is not kinked or bent sharply, which can restrict airflow. Maintain at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel
The control panel on top of the unit features LED indicators and buttons for various functions.

4.3 Operating Modes

- Clean Filter: Wash the filter under running tap water (preferably warm, not hot). For heavy dust, a mild detergent can be used.

- Re-install Filter: Once dry, slide the filter back into its slot and close the access panel.
5.2 Draining Water
Your unit features auto-evaporation technology, which typically evaporates collected water. However, in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up. The unit will display a "Water Full" indicator and stop operating.
- Power Off and Unplug: Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Position for Draining: Move the unit to a location where water can be drained, such as a floor drain or outdoors. Alternatively, place a shallow pan (not included) under the drain port.
- Remove Drain Plug: Locate the drain port (usually at the bottom rear of the unit) and carefully remove the rubber drain plug.
- Drain Water: Allow all collected water to drain out.
- Replace Drain Plug: Once drained, securely replace the rubber drain plug.
5.3 Storage
When storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all water from the unit.
- Clean the air filter.
- Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
