2. Safety Information

4. Setup & Preparation

1. Drill Hole: Drill a hole of the specified diameter and depth according to the anchor rod or sleeve being used and the substrate material (concrete or masonry). Ensure the hole is clean and free of dust and debris.
2. Clean Hole: Thoroughly clean the drilled hole using a brush and blow-out pump. Repeat this process until no dust is visible. Proper cleaning is critical for optimal bond strength.
3. Prepare Cartridge: Unscrew the cap from the FIS VL 300 T cartridge.
4. Attach Static Mixer: Screw a new static mixer firmly onto the cartridge. Ensure it is securely attached to prevent leakage and ensure proper mixing.

5. Operating Instructions (Application)

Follow these steps for proper application of the Fischer FIS VL 300 T assembly mortar:

1. Inject Mortar:
   • For Solid Substrates (Concrete, Solid Masonry): Insert the static mixer to the back of the drilled hole and inject mortar, slowly withdrawing the mixer as the hole fills. Fill the hole approximately 2/3 full to avoid air voids.
   • For Perforated Masonry (with Injection Anchor Sleeve): Insert the injection anchor sleeve into the cleaned drilled hole. Then, insert the static mixer into the sleeve and inject mortar, filling the sleeve completely.
2. Insert Anchor Element: Immediately after injecting the mortar, insert the anchor rod or internal thread anchor into the filled hole with a slight twisting motion until it reaches the bottom. Ensure the element is centered.
3. Curing Time: Allow the mortar to cure completely according to the manufacturer's specifications (refer to product label or technical data sheet for specific curing times based on temperature). Do not load the anchor during the curing period.
4. Variable Anchoring Depths: The system supports variable anchoring depths between 60 mm and 400 mm, depending on the application and substrate.

• Cartridge Reusability: Pre-cut cartridges can be reused. After use, leave the static mixer attached to the cartridge. For subsequent use, remove the old static mixer and attach a new one.
